Apr 20, 2013 - The sound of music in New Jersey

The state of New Jersey hosts a myriad of music festivals annually. Many of the festivals take place indoor and outdoor, some across the state and they all have a variety of style and genre of music. Some of these festivals actually offer some opportunity for education and some just give rental bus visitors a chance to just rough it out and enjoy their favorite music. Visit New Jersey with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from Bus Companies New Jersey and enjoy some of the best music of today.

At the start in the month of May, contemporary pop musicians gather in East Rutherford at the New Jersey’s Meadowlands Sports Complex to jam in this two-day event. This festival was started by John D’Esposito and Coachella producer Kevin Kopacko in 2002 to recreate Coachella on the Eastern Coast just for rental bus visitors. This event hosts nine stages featuring many popular rock, hip-hop and alternative musicians of the era. Regardless whether it rains or shines, Bamboozle still goes on.

As for the New Jersey Folk Festival, Rutger students have led this event ever since year 1975 with the aim to focus on folk culture and at the same time teach students on festival management and public relations skills. Rental bus visitors can enjoy the festival’s music as the musicians focus on music from around the world. Visitors can listen to bagpipers from Highland, ensembles from Middle-East and singers who preform West African songs. The festival also hosts a juried craft market where they have more than 100 booths, singer and songwriter competition and even an area specially condoned off for kids with kiddy activities like potato sack racing, pie eating contest, face painting and loads more. This festival is held in April and lasts for an entire day.

During spring and fall, Camp Jam in the Pines is a long festival which lasts three days where people celebrate the bluegrass, country, blues and Americana music. In previous festivals, they invited musicians like Caravan of Thieves, Eilen Jewell and Lower Case Blues. Visitors can also camp at the site or head to Holiday Inn nearby who will give discounts to festival goers. If you are afraid it’ll be too noisy, don’t worry; there is an area in the camping grounds where music is prohibited between midnight till 8am.

Rental bus visitors can listen to the most recent music when the up and coming musicians of the Tri-state area are given a chance to perform their works in front of the Wave Gathering Music Festival visitors. This festival is held in the middle of June at bars, restaurants, churches and around Asbury Park, and lasts for the whole weekend. However, most of the festival happens on Cookman Avenue; you can even enjoy a free street festival held on the first day of the event.
